The hotel has eight restaurants and bars across the basement level and the first two floors, plus one pastry boutique.
On the basement level are TOH-KA-LIN (Cantonese), KOHGYOKU (sushi), Le Champ d’Or (French), and the Okura Brewery. TOH-KA-LIN has four private rooms and serves dim sum alongside its regular menu. KOHGYOKU traces its roots to a sushi restaurant founded in Hakata in 1969 and has two private rooms. Le Champ d’Or is reservation-only, with a single private room, open Friday evenings and on weekends and public holidays.
On the second floor, Yamazato has four private rooms as well as a tempura counter and a traditional tea room. Sazanka is a teppanyaki restaurant where the food is cooked in front of you, with two private rooms.
On the first floor, Camellia seats 114 and serves breakfast and lunch, with dinner on selected days. Hakatagawa, the lounge and bar, is open from afternoon into the evening, from afternoon tea to a late drink. The pastry boutique sells Hotel Okura Fukuoka products, including bottled Hakata Draft.

At Nakasu-Kawabata Station, exit through the Kawabata-guchi ticket gate and head toward Exit 6. Walk past the stairs to Exit 6 and take the escalator up to basement level 1. From there, walk through Hakata Riverain Mall to reach the hotel, also on basement level 1. The distance from the station is about 162 meters, roughly a three-minute walk.
By subway, it’s about 9 minutes from Fukuoka Airport, about 3 minutes from Hakata Station, and about 1 minute from Tenjin, all to Nakasu-Kawabata Station — add the three-minute walk from there to the hotel. By car, it’s about a minute from the Gofukumachi ramp on the Fukuoka Expressway.
A Walk Through Hakataza, the Museum, and Kawabata-dori
Hakata Riverain, home to the hotel, also holds Hakataza Theater and the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum. You can stop at the museum before or after a show.
From there, Kawabata-dori Shopping Street runs for about 400 meters, an arcade with a history of more than 130 years and over 130 shops. Follow it further and you’ll reach Kushida Shrine, known for hosting Hakata Gion Yamakasa, one of Fukuoka’s major summer festivals, or continue toward Canal City Hakata.
A show, a museum visit, a walk through the shopping arcade, and a stop at the shrine can all be strung together on foot from the hotel.
